My Turbo Fire Workout – 1 Week Update

I have officially been doing the Turbo Fire workout for a week now and I have to say that I really like this workout program. I figured I would like since I loved Chalene’s Turbo Jam, but I think I like Turbo Fire even more than I like Turbo Jam! The reason is because it pushes you so much more. After my workouts I am sore and tired but about 10 minutes later I feel amazing (endorphin rush) and so happy I completed the workout.

For the first week I was able to complete the first 6 days of workout as the class schedule calls for one day off in the middle of the week. There was one workout, the Fire 55 EZ Class that I had to cut a little short because the baby woke up but I was still able to do about 40 minutes of it, so it was definitely still a good workout. Oh, and when they say EZ Class, it is far from easy!

My Weight Loss with Turbo Fire

So, let me get to the update part that most people want to hear about. How much weight did I lose the first week? The official total for week one of Turbo Fire is:

-5 pounds.

Yep, I was able to shed 5 pounds the first week from following the Turbo Fire schedule. Now I don’t expect that every week from now on, but I have to say that 5 pounds is pretty darn good for the first week.

My Turbo Fire weight loss goals involved losing 26 pounds in the 12 weeks. With this 5 pound loss that means I only have 21 more pounds to lose in 11 weeks, which is an average of a little under 2 pounds a week, which is totally doable.

I’m so excited that I have found an exercise that I love and one that actually challenges me and is reshaping my body. I’m actually excited to work out now and can’t wait to compare my beginning weight loss pictures with my 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days picture.
